On the occasion of Vicenzaoro, the talk “The strength of artisanal know-how: young people on the front line” was held, promoted by Assocoral to showcase a now well-established model of collaboration between the Francesco Degni Institute, the Cologni Foundation for the Métiers d’Art ETS, and the local production system.
The meeting, conducted by Assocoral Vice President Tommaso Mazza, featured contributions from Prof. Ciro Mazza, Jewelry Design teacher at the Degni Art High School, Federica Cavriana, Training and Orientation Project Manager at the Cologni Foundation, and Aurora Vernassi, winner of the latest edition of the Una Scuola, un Lavoro. Percorsi di Eccellenza competition.
It was precisely through Aurora’s testimony that the importance of these pathways emerged: soon she will begin her company internship, after a journey built step by step between school and business. This is an experience already lived in previous years by Alessandro Simonelli and Myriam Colardo, who are now firmly established in the workforce.
In closing, it was recalled how these projects represent a concrete tool for reducing the gap between education and companies, enhancing young talents and strengthening the future of artistic craftsmanship in coral and cameo.
