The “Coral Routes – Dialogue between Mediterranean cultures” project has gone beyond the dimension of a single event, transforming into an experience of real and ongoing exchange. Two days full of meetings, exchanges, and relationships that made it possible to strengthen existing bonds and create new ones, laying concrete foundations for future joint initiatives.
The value of this journey lies precisely in the quality of the dialogue developed between territories, operators, and institutions that share a millennia-old history linked to coral. Not just a simple recounting of the past, but a shared reflection on the present and future of this Mediterranean heritage.
A heartfelt thanks goes to the organizers for involving us in this project and, in particular, to the Mayor of Torre del Greco Luigi Mennella. His presence, unique among the mayors of the six cities involved, takes on even greater significance considering the Christmas period, full of institutional commitments.
An authentic participation, experienced in the field for both days, which made it possible to meet local operators, visit the Pepoli Museum and some private collections, listening directly to the voices of the territory.
It is through experiences like this that the Mediterranean once again becomes a space of connection, cooperation, and shared vision.
