The craftsmanship of Torre del Greco took center stage once again at the Mediterranean Archaeological Tourism Exchange in Paestum, within the institutional stand of the Municipality of Torre del Greco.
This event renewed the strong link between territory, tradition, and education, as master artisans demonstrated live the ancient techniques of coral and cameo carving, true symbols of the city’s identity.
Assocoral took part with the skilled contribution of Aurora Vernassi, Vincenzo Mazza, Alessandro Crispino, Pietro and Alessandro Simonelli, who alternated in a genuine relay of craftsmanship, sharing the story and beauty of this unique art form.
The initiative continued the narrative path started with the teachers and students of the Istituto Francesco Degni, strengthening the collaboration between schools, institutions, and local enterprises, with the aim of passing on Torre del Greco’s artisanal heritage to future generations.
