On Saturday, October 25, 2025, at the Corsie Sistine of Santo Spirito in Sassia in Rome, one of the most anticipated events of the Rome Jewelry Week will take place — the week entirely dedicated to promoting the culture of contemporary jewelry, author’s design, artistic creation, and the city’s goldsmith excellence.
Among the main voices of this edition, Assocoral will present “Universo Corallo: Tradition, Science and Future”, featuring Vincenzo Aucella, President of Assocoral, and Loredana Prosperi, Ambassador of the Italian Gemological Institute. The talk will be moderated by Laura Astrologo Porché, a well-known journalist and expert in jewelry communication.
“Universo Corallo” will be an opportunity to explore the dialogue between craftsmanship and science, reflecting on how coral continues to be a living element of Italian identity and creativity. The conversation will highlight not only the aesthetic and symbolic value of coral, but also its scientific, sustainable, and cultural dimensions, bridging tradition and innovation.
For Assocoral, participating in the Rome Jewelry Week means reaffirming the role of Torre del Greco coral as an internationally recognized excellence — a tangible connection between heritage, knowledge, and future generations.
Through its commitment to education, sustainability, and artistic innovation, Assocoral continues to promote and protect the culture of coral and cameo craftsmanship, preserving a centuries-old art that still defines the excellence of Made in Italy.
