Assocoral has always been proactive in supporting local initiatives that enhance the city of Torre del Greco. Today, even more so with the presence of the Corallo e Cammeo Torrese Consortium.
As we did in the past, when we were the creators and promoters of the Virtual Museum project—now close to inauguration thanks to PICS funds—we have submitted a new proposal within the framework of PRIUS funds.
This time the goal is even more ambitious: to create a physical Museum of Coral and Cameo on the upper floors of the Santissima Trinità, transforming the structure into a true museum hub for the city.
While the virtual museum represents an important tool for innovation, in our case it is not enough. The craft of coral and cameo is alive, productive, and must also be told through a physical space, with professional display cases, lighting, security systems, and exhibition routes.
A Museum that not only preserves our tradition, but also becomes a driver of development for the area, thanks to tourism fairs, marketing, and digital promotion. A project that enhances not only the sector, but the entire city of Torre del Greco.
