Assocoral supports EXEMPLA: the Grand Tour of Campanian Craftsmanship returns to the Naples Maritime Station
On 4 August 2026, at 10:30 a.m., at the Naples Maritime Station, a new exhibition of EXEMPLA – The Grand Tour of Campanian Craftsmanship will be inaugurated, an initiative dedicated to enhancing the excellence of Campania’s artistic craftsmanship.
The project was created with the aim of telling the traditions, creativity and identity of the region’s territories, turning the heritage of artisanal know-how into a new cultural and tourist experience.
Through artefacts, traditional processes and first-hand accounts from artisans, the exhibition will guide Italian and international visitors, tourism professionals, buyers and representatives of the international press to discover one of Campania’s most authentic heritages.
The initiative is part of the broader programme to promote the region in view of major international events that will involve Naples and the Campania area in the coming months. The goal is to strengthen the destination’s appeal and promote itineraries that can bring together culture, tourism, excellence production and local communities.
Cameo engraving, symbol of the initiative
Assocoral expresses particular satisfaction and pride in the choice to use, once again, the image of cameo engraving as a representative element of EXEMPLA’s official communication.
The cameo deeply identifies Torre del Greco, its history and its productive community. It is the result of knowledge handed down through generations of master engravers and represents one of the best-known and most appreciated Italian artistic expressions internationally.
The presence of cameo engraving in the official image confirms the central role of Torre del Greco within the heritage of Campanian artistic craftsmanship.
A journey that began at the Dubai Expo
Assocoral has supported EXEMPLA since its beginnings and has accompanied its path of growth and promotion.
The collaboration began on the occasion of the Dubai Expo and continued through the subsequent stops in Milan and Procida, up to the various initiatives organised at the Naples Maritime Station.
A journey the Association has shared with conviction, recognising in the project a concrete tool to promote artistic craftsmanship, encourage the meeting between businesses and new markets, and strengthen the link between excellence production, culture and tourism.
The inauguration on 4 August
The inauguration will feature:
Vincenzo Maraio, Regional Councillor for Tourism, Territorial Promotion and Digital Transition of the Campania Region;
Rosanna Romano, Director General for Cultural Policies and Tourism of the Campania Region;
Tommaso Cognolato, CEO and General Manager of Terminal Napoli S.p.A.
Also present will be the exhibitors taking part in the initiative, protagonists of a project that aims to make artistic craftsmanship one of Campania’s most authoritative and recognisable ambassadors in the world.
