Torre del Greco coral and cameos are returning to the spotlight on Italian national television.
Tomorrow, Wednesday 22 July, the Rai 1 programme “UnoMattina Estate”, hosted by Alessandro Greco and Carolina Rey, will dedicate an extensive segment to the history, tradition and excellence of our sector.
Assocoral President Vincenzo Aucella will join the programme live, accompanied by Sandro Orlando.
The interview will explore the traditional craftsmanship of coral and cameo carving, arts that have shaped the cultural and productive identity of Torre del Greco for centuries and have made the city an international point of reference.
The programme will also focus on turquoise, one of the most widely recognised and appreciated gemstones in the jewellery world, discussing its distinctive characteristics and processing techniques.
The appearance on “UnoMattina Estate” represents another important opportunity to promote the work of local companies and artisans and to introduce a national audience to the value of a unique artistic and manufacturing heritage.
The programme will be broadcast live on Rai 1 on Wednesday 22 July, from 8:30 am to 11:30 am.
