Our heartfelt thanks to CIBJO – The World Jewellery Confederation for accrediting us to the CIBJO Congress 2026 and for giving us the opportunity to take part in the work of the Coral Commission.
A special thanks goes to Enzo Liverino, President of the Coral Commission, for the attention devoted to our sector, and above all to the President of CIBJO, Gaetano Cavalieri, for the welcome extended to us and for wishing to involve Assocoral directly, inviting us to speak during the Commission’s proceedings.
It was an important opportunity to bring the voice of our district into the international Congress and to tell the strong bond that unites the family businesses of coral and cameo from Torre del Greco, guardians of a production and craft tradition unique in the world.
President Cavalieri announced the evolution of the Coral Commission into a Forum, with the aim of broadening the international dialogue on the challenges and opportunities concerning the future of precious coral.
In this new phase, President Cavalieri has officially invited Assocoral to take part in the Forum, together with the association of Japanese coral workers.
An important recognition for our Association and, above all, for Torre del Greco and for the entire coral and cameo sector that we represent.
Being present in the international venues where the future of our sector is discussed and shaped means being able to bring our experience, our history and the skills of our companies, but also to contribute concretely to the choices that will concern precious coral in the years to come.
